AJICO is Jordache’s latest and most ambitious investment in manufacturing. The company was established in 1999 and commenced operations in April 2000.
Located in the Irbid QIZ in Jordan, the factory building is an impressive 2 floor concrete building with 180,000 square feet. The facility houses under one roof a cutting section, large sewing hall, finishing and packing sections, a laundry, sample section, and a state of the art, million dollar water discharge treatment and recycling plant.
Manufacturing capacity is planned and being increased gradually in three phases. We are now at completion of phase 2, with 500 sewing machines installed and working, manufacturing at present 120,000 units weekly of fashion garments - woven pants, shorts skirts and jackets.
AJICO is built and trained to be a flexible resource, able to produce almost any type of fashion garment, requiring any type of operation, and run multiple styles of any size run simultaneously. With over $6 million invested in machinery alone, it has the latest state-of-the-art machinery, including modern cutting with automatic spreaders, computer- controlled decorative stitch, automatic belt loop and bar-tacking machines, fusing machines, and other advanced sewing equipment. Various finishing equipment includes flat iron, leggers, and anti-stretch, size and pressure controlled toppers.
